Finally, my Hoot of the year on 221211. The 875 fresh from The Red Wing Store Suntec Singapore. It is the time of the year, Christmas is round the corner and I had vouchers so this is the best period. I had been eye-ing it for about a year now and it is time to pull the trigger!
Here it is. The Red Wing Classic moc-toe 875. Fresh and full of leather. The leather skin definitely smells good.
The Red Wing Classic Standard Crepe Soles. Does it sounds delicious? Very deliciously nice-looking. Anyway, the Sole is about an inch high. Instantly made me an inch taller.
The Trademark. Made in U.S.A. Since 1905. I love the oil-tanned leather. It was a love at first sight.
The Gold/tan braided round bootlaces compliment the boot really well.
The thing about boot is that, it had to be break in. meaning to say, wearing it so as to allow the leather to acclimatise to your feet. The inital period is suffering but the post-break in period is the labor of fruit. Afterwards, it might be the best shoe you will ever wore. Well, I can't assure because I had not experience it personally, however, I will document it as I go along.
One last shot. Handsome-looking. Leather is my new second skin.
Oh and one more thing, whether if you're in Singapore, for guys, if you are not aware, the current trend is the combination of boot with a complimenting jean. Especially easy for a weekend wear.
